Terms of Use
Plain-language launch terms for The Homesteading Compass.
Use the App Responsibly
The Homesteading Compass helps you organize homestead records, planning, Notebook entries, contact records, shared emergency plans, marketplace listings, and educational notes. You are responsible for using the app safely and lawfully.
Marketplace Listings
Listings must be honest, safe, and legal to sell in your area. Do not list prohibited goods, unsafe animals, false certifications, inspected-product claims you cannot prove, or misleading health information.
Shared Emergency Plans and Contacts
Emergency plans, shared contacts, animal movement checklists, and safety status tools are planning aids. Keep them accurate, share them only with trusted people, and call local emergency services during an actual emergency.
No Legal, Medical, or Veterinary Advice
Educational content is for general planning only. Always verify laws, food safety rules, animal health questions, and emergency decisions with qualified professionals or official sources.
User Content
You are responsible for the photos, notes, messages, records, and listings you add. Do not upload content you do not have permission to use.
Safety
Use caution when meeting buyers or sellers. Inspect animals and goods before paying, avoid deposits to unknown sellers, and follow local laws.
